Perhaps! It is never about the device. It was always about the internet service and the factors that lie
around it. Read this blog to wither off any hassle related to the connectivity and what are the things
to be done in particular
The Detailed Fix
Follow the steps to perform a detailed process and sort out the connection issue:
1.Firstly, you need to login to the router and you have to enter this IP address in the URL bar
2.Then hover to the DNS Alternatives and check whether the Roku uses an external IP address
3.Here you have to replace the address with a public DNS and that’s when all hell breaks loose
4.Now you have to save the settings that you had just configured
5.After this, run the Roku setup process again and see whether the gadget is connected to the
router
6.You can leave the gadget disconnected for some time and make sure that you have set the DNS
properly
7.Once you complete the process, you can be ready to go.
Finally, you can watch all the shows that you like and get a marvelous experience
Troubleshooting
The method we saw earlier was a bit more advanced. For simple errors, you might need to check out
the setup manual and take note of the guidelines to get a vision of how the Roku device works and
how the errors can be sorted out:
1.Restart the modem or the router and see if the error remains
2.Factory reset the whole system as it might tackle the hassle
